We need volunteers to work during the event and competitors for the nutty cook-off. We also need people to donate pies and other items for the auctions.

The Story of the First Lord's Acre

Once upon a time, in the little farming town of Aledo, there was a little wooden church. The people of that little church loved to sing, pray and worship God. They loved each other and they loved their little church. Of course, nothing is perfect. The floors were creaky, the windows rattled in the wind but, worse of all, when it rained the roof leaked. Not just a little drip now and then but, buckets would drench the worshipers. Now when you're in the middle of singing Onward Christian Soldiers, the last thing you need is a mouthful of water.
