Adult Bible Study Class (Schedule Here)

The class consists of all age groups and is designed to relate to everyone from the Bible study “rookie” to the “seasoned veteran.”  Each study is comprised of 13 lessons that usually cover 1-3 chapters per lesson.  The study book is easy to read and guides us through key verses and concepts.

The study guide takes a three-dimensional approach:

1) It helps answer the question, "What does the Bible say?;"
2) The meaning of the passage is clarified by considering such aspects as ancient customs, locations of places, and the meanings of words;
3) It helps connect the meaning of the Scripture with their own lives.

In class we review the Scripture, attempt to answer questions from the weekly reading, and discuss the scripture focusing on key passages, themes, and lessons.  As a part of each lesson we try to determine how we can apply the scripture lesson to our daily walk.

We meet upstairs in the Education Building (second door on the left) – hope to see you Sunday.  Contact Mike Barton if you have any questions: bartonmc@aol.com or 817-596-8472.
